As a part of our end-to-end solutions package for our customers, we undertake contract production of agricultural produce in our own farms, leased farms and on contract farming arrangement with the farmers in our catchment area. We believe in offering a solution to the customer much beyond just the physical product by working along with the customer in the field.
Currently, we have initiated contract production of 60000 metric tonnes of corn for one of our customers who is a large hatcheries company. The solutions package, apart from delivering the physical 60000 metric tonnes of corn includes identification of suitable seed, training
on package of practices, mechanized sowing, plant protection and nutrition guidance, mechanized harvesting, sourcing and pre-processing support. We have tied up with a large multinational seed company to provide the required seeds and product knowledge.
